In the heart of a city plastered with all kinds of signage, Philippe Allard decided to blaze a trail away from the routes we usually take through the Quartier des Spectacles. Placed here and there, in unusual and unreachable places, Allard’s luminous beacons pulse to the rhythm of the city. They mesh wittily with the urban landscape, highlight details we usually ignore, and lure us off the beaten path. The result is a poetic stroll that outwits our daily auto-pilot routines.
Presented at multiple locations, from August 30 to October 15, 2017, as part of KM3.
