Plunging into the heart of Montreal’s “Planet Jazz,” he passes the mic and the instrument(s) over to the birds, freeing them to sing loud and clear of how they want to keep living, whistling and chirping, whether in a Big Band or just solo. Our aural landscape would be a desert without their music. Give the birds free rein, let them sing out. Steven Spazuk has participated in numerous exhibitions and performances in Montreal, New York, Milan, Toronto, Berlin, Florence and Stavanger, Norway.
