K’Koustik is a quartet of musicians (voice, percussions, guitar and bass) that speaks for the musical style son trasé, based on traditional Guadeloupean beats, a tribute to ka with a subtle blend of Cuban bolero and Brazilian choro plus a touch of jazz. At the start, the four partners were named Jean-Marc Ferdinand, Joby Julienne, Jean Tamas and Arsène Noël.
