La Virée classique de l'OSM

The 11th edition of the Virée classique promises a kaleidoscope of colours, exotic aromas, and mesmerizing melodies... Embark on a journey to the Mediterranean and its music! From Spain to the Middle East, through Italy and Greece, the OSM will showcase a rich tapestry of musical cultures with around sixty free activities including an opera screening, musical yoga, a fusion of classical and electronic music with the MUTEK festival and scores of family activities. Eight ticketed concerts including Saint-Saëns Egypt, Fauré, Debussy and Chausson for strings and piano or Bizet’s Spain, with the renowned classical guitarist Miloš, will feature stellar artists as part of an innovative and captivating program that promises a host of exciting discoveries. This summer, music will bring people together like never before, shining the spotlight on many of Montreal’s diverse communities.
