To tip its hat to the immensely talented actor that was Gene Hackman, the Cinémathèque québécoise presents Scarecrow, which he considered his favorite of his long career. The sublime performance he delivers contributed to filmmaker Jerry Schatzberg's Palme d'Or win at the 1973 Cannes Film Festival.
