Le FIFA, 2022
The International Festival of Films on Art (Le FIFA) runs until March 30, 2025. The event promises a vibrant and inspiring program to discover films about art and art films through a carefully selected selection of over 200 titles. Here are just a few of the stops you can make in and around the Quartier des spectacles to take full advantage of the program:
Isabella Cichero pays tribute to Gabriela Mistral with a brand-new digital fresco, presented as a world premiere near the Saint-Laurent metro station in the heart of the Quartier des Spectacles. This digital artwork is created by the Delight Lab, a Santiago-based collective founded by Andrea and Octavio Gana.
A poet, teacher, diplomat, and feminist, Gabriela Mistral (1889−1957) remains a towering figure in Latin American literature. In 1945, she became the first Latin American writer — and the first woman — to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature. Her work continues to resonate today with its depth, humanity, and unwavering commitment to social justice.
DJ Hermano and Ultima Esuna join forces for a night where music crosses borders and fuses cultures. Get ready for an exhilarating sonic journey, brought to you by two leading figures on the Latin American electronic music scene. The dance floor will be a veritable field of free expression!
