La Maison Théâtre
Anchored in the heart of pluralistic Montreal, the Maison Théâtre presents theatrical works for children and young people, and promotes their recognition and influence in Quebec and beyond.
Since 1984, Maison Théâtre has been Montreal’s premier venue for theater targeted to young audiences. Each year, it offers a rich and varied program, and welcomes over 52,000 spectators: young people aged 1 to 18 years and their families, as well as numerous school and pre-school groups. In addition to the high quality of the works it presents, which are among the most significant in local and international theater, Maison Théâtre is a leader in the field of audience support and educational activities. It also acts as an association of 33 professional theater companies based throughout Quebec. It plays an active role in the development and promotion of theater for children and young people throughout the world.
