Once the scene of discussions and cultural revolts, the Foufs saw the rise of Quebec alterno pioneers such as Grim Skunk, Groovy Aardvark and Overbass, and welcomed international artists such as Nirvana, Hole and the Smashing Pumpkins even before they became household names.
