Société des Arts Technologiques (SAT)

In the heart of the Quartier des Spectacles, the Société des arts technologiques (SAT) is a unique venue that offers the public immersive experiences in its renowned dome, as well as concerts, workshops, conferences, exhibitions… Hundreds of events are presented there each year.

Since its creation in 1996, the SAT has been dedicated to the development of digital culture. It is a creative hub open to all audiences and communities. It is the only place in Montreal (and probably in the world) to bring together under one roof an immersive theater (the Satosphère), a research laboratory, a training center, a concert hall, a café, and a restaurant.

An experimental space and a place for collective learning, the SAT supports the emergence of new forms of creativity and encourages transdisciplinarity, the sharing of knowledge, and the dissemination of digital culture in all its forms.
